The sense of dread that wells up when you unexpectedly encounter a clogged drain is unparalleled. You may rush to Google quick solutions, desperate to find a way to fix the problem. The internet is a treasure trove of life hacks and so-called solutions, and it can be pretty challenging to figure out which tips and tricks are actually useful, and which are myths. Today, we'll be discussing some of the most common clogged drain hacks and using our years of experience to tell you what's really going on.  Pouring salt and water down a drain can clear a clogged drain. MYTH. While salt and water can help clean your drain and prevent  future clogs, pouring salt and water down your drain will not do anything for an existing clog. It's simply not powerful enough to dislodge a clog.
